A three-day Climate Smart Agriculture Technology Fair was inaugurated at Dumuria in Khulna. On Sunday (June 2-24) at 10 a.m., a program was organized to mark the inauguration of the fair at the Upazila Swahidhana Chatway organized by the Upazila Agricultural Extension Department. Under the chairmanship of Upazila Executive Officer Md. Al Amin, Additional Director of Khulna Region of Agriculture Extension Department, Agronomist Mohan Kumar Ghosh was the chief guest.The special guest was agriculturist Jahangir Hossain Sub-Department of Agriculture Extension Khamarbari. The project was presented by agriculturist Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni, Project Director of Climate Change Adaptation Project of Khulna Agricultural Region through Climent Smart Technology.

Upazila Agriculture Officer Agriculturist Md. Insad Ibn Amin delivered the welcome speech. Upazila Awami League General Secretary Shahanewaz Hossain Joadar, Press Club President SM Jahangir Alam, Assistant Agriculture Officer Tushar Kumar Biswas, Farmer Newton Mondal, etc. also spoke on the occasion. Before this, the colorful procession came out and the fair was inaugurated by blowing balloons. Various types of technology were exhibited in 12 stalls at the Smart Agriculture Technology Fair.
