In Dhamairhat of Naogaon, a preparatory discussion meeting was held to declare 4 unions free from child marriage under the initiative of the upazila administration and with the support of World Vision. On Monday (June 3) at 10 o'clock in the morning in the Upazila Parishad meeting room UNO Asma Khatun presided over No. 1 Dhamirhat Union, No. 3 Alampur, No. 4 Umar and No. 6 Jahanpur Union and spoke as the chief guest in the meeting to declare child marriage free, Upazila Chairman Md. Azahar Ali. The special guests were Upazila Women Vice Chairman and popular women leader Anjuara Begum, Upazila Women Affairs Officer Mizanur Rahman, Youth Development Officer Kamruzzaman, Acting Social Service Officer ATM Fasiul Alam, Family Planning Officer Bedarul Islam, UP Chairman respectively A.T. .M Badiul Alam, Osman Gani, Golam Kibria, Mahfuzul Alam Lucky, Ismail Hossain Mostak, Mosaddekur Rahman.

In the end, Upazila Chairman Azahar Ali, the chief guest of the program, handed over the child marriage free union information board to the 4 UP chairman and the commitment board to the kajids to build a smart Bangladesh.
