Naogaon's Raninagar Upazila Parishad's newly elected Upazila Parishad Chairman Rahid Sardar said that there are frequent complaints of extra toll collection in haats ahead of Eid-ul-Adha. This additional toll will be discontinued. Toll chart will be hung in every market. He said to the people, you will pay the fare by looking at the toll chart. Don't pay even one rupee more than the chart. Even after that, if someone forcefully takes extra rent, inform the Upazila Nirbahi officer immediately. He said that many people have to struggle to buy sacrificial animals at the time of sacrifice. If they have to pay extra rent then where will common people go? Therefore, no additional toll will be allowed to be collected at any market in the upazila. Even after this, if the extra toll collection is not stopped, then legal action will be taken.
