Two persons were arrested with one hundred and fifty pieces of Yaba tablets by Narail DB Police. Narail District Intelligence Branch police have arrested two persons involved in drug trade named Mohammad Moshiar Sheikh (32) and Md Borhan Sheikh (35). The arrested Mohammad Moshiar Sheikh (32) is the son of deceased Odud Sheikh of Khalishakhali village under Lohagara police station of Narail district and Md Borhan Sheikh (35) is the son of Motaleb Sheikh of Rajupur village of Lohagara police station. Ujjal Roy, Narail district representative, said that he was arrested from the yard of Imran Master's residence in Khalishakhali under Lohagara police station of Narail district on Saturday (June 8) night. On the basis of secret information under the supervision of Narail District Intelligence Branch Officer-in-Charge Md Chabirul Alam under the leadership of Police Inspector (Unarmed) Shimul Kumar Das, SI (Retd) Md Saiful Islam and ASI (Rtd) Sushant Kumar Roy with the joint force raided Mohammad Moshiar Sheikh (32) and Md. Borhan Sheikh (35) arrested Der. At that time, one hundred and fifty pieces of illegal drug Yaba tablets were seized from the arrested accused. In this regard, a case under Narcotics Control Act is under process at Lohagarh police station. After the case the accused will be handed over to the learned court. Under the guidance of Narail District Police Superintendent Mohd Mehdi Hasan, the district police is working sincerely to make Narail drug free.
