Rasiq's coordination meeting on prompt removal of Rajshahi Qurbani waste on the occasion of Holy Eid-ul-Azha

On the occasion of holy Eid-ul-Azha-2024, a meeting was held with 30 Ward Secretaries and Ward Supervisors (Clean) of Rajshahi City Corporation regarding the slaughter of sacrificial animals and quick waste removal at specific places. The meeting was held on Tuesday (June 11) at 12 noon in the city hall of Nagar Bhavan. Rajshahi City Corporation Panel Mayor-1 and Ward No. 21 Councilor Nizam ul Azim were present as chief guests in the meeting. The meeting was attended by 19th Ward Councilor Touhidul Haque Suman, 8th Ward Councilor Jane Alam Khan Jani, 30th Ward Councilor Md Alauddin, Chief Clean Officer Sheikh Md. Mamun dollar. The meeting was moderated by Deputy Chief Cleaning Officer Salim Reza Ranju.

It was informed in the meeting that the day after the holy Eid-ul-Azha, all preparations have been made to remove the waste of sacrifices in order to present a clean city to the city dwellers. After slaughtering the sacrificial animal, bleaching powder is sprinkled on the place, water tankers are arranged to wash it with sufficient water. Leaflets on rapid waste disposal have been prepared. Prepared leaflets to inform the public on Friday prayer sermons by Imams of mosques belonging to each ward. And Eid-ul-Azhar campaign has been arranged. The Eid day leave of all (central and ward) level officials of the cleaning department has been cancelled. Water tankers will be used to strengthen clean activities. The control room has been opened on the day of Eid for the smooth implementation of all activities. Complaint receiving time is from 4 PM to 11 PM on Eid-ul-Azhar.
