On this occasion, Buddha Puja, lamp lighting, peace procession, religious discussion meeting, morning ferry, congregational prayer, discussion meeting, meditation and Buddha Puja will be held in Buddhist Viharas across the country. Also, special prayers have been organized for all-round peace and well-being of mankind. On the occasion of the day President Md. Sahabuddin and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina gave separate messages. On this occasion, tomorrow will be a public holiday.
President Md. Sahabuddin will welcome the Buddhists at the Credential Hall of Bangabhavan today on the occasion of Buddha Purnima.
