Ansar Force Creating Employment Opportunities for the Younger Generation - Additional Director General in Rangpur

Brigadier General Fida Mahmud, Additional Director General of the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party (VDP), stated that the force is working to create employment opportunities for educated young men and women at the village level through training. In the first phase, 85,000 members from villages will be trained. After completing the training, they will become skilled entrepreneurs, contributing to employment generation and building confidence in creating a new Bangladesh. To achieve employment goals, arrangements are being made to send them abroad for various service-oriented jobs. Demand letters are being sent to countries, including the Middle East and Saudi Arabia, to deploy trained individuals. He made these remarks as the chief guest at the district gathering of Rangpur District Ansar-VDP, organized by the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party at the Rangpur District Shilpakala Academy auditorium on Wednesday.
He further added that no other organization in Bangladesh can reach remote areas of the country as quickly as the Ansar force. He mentioned that the force is working on various directives and aims to achieve even better results in a short time. The Additional Director General emphasized the need to move the force forward, acknowledging its weaknesses and stating that the Director General is working to address them. He noted that solving all issues will take some time. Regarding job opportunities, he mentioned that there are many qualified individuals within the force, and efforts are being made to utilize their potential for better outcomes. He also highlighted the need to improve healthcare services, ensuring affordable and advanced medical treatment by MBBS doctors.
The district gathering was chaired by Abu Jafor, Additional Divisional Commissioner of Rangpur Division. Abdus Samad, BPM, PPM, Range Director of Rangpur Range, Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party, attended as the keynote speaker and discussed various aspects of the force's activities in Rangpur district. He urged members to work for their own development as well as for the welfare of the country and the nation. The welcome speech was delivered by Md. Rashedul Islam, BAMS, District Commandant of Rangpur Ansar-VDP, who also managed the event. Special guests at the gathering included Rangpur District Police Superintendent Abu Sayem, Abdullah Al Hadi, Director of Thakurgaon 39 Ansar Battalion, and Dr. Mostafa Jamal Chowdhury, Civil Surgeon of Rangpur, among others.
As recognition for their good work, four bicycles, 40 umbrellas, and other items were awarded as prizes. The gathering was attended by all district commandants of Rangpur Division, upazila officers, members, distinguished personalities, union leaders, media personnel, and others. The event was hosted and conducted by Nahida Rahman, an Ansar-VDP officer from Taraganj.
