A three-day skill and capacity-building training course has begun for police members in Pabna, aiming to control the law and order situation, protect voting rights, and perform duties impartially in the upcoming election. The first batch of this course started on October 5, 2025, at the Shaheed Bir Muktijoddha Abdul Jalil Milonayatan Hall in Pabna Police Lines. On Tuesday, October 7, Additional DIG (Operations) Md. Nowroz Hasan Talukdar from the Rajshahi Range DIG's office visited the first batch of this important training course on the spot. This training, organized for police members from the rank of Constable to Inspector, is providing practical knowledge and guidance for performing election duties smoothly. Key topics of the training include strategies for controlling the law and order situation during the election period and ensuring the impartial role of the police in protecting voting rights.
During the visit, Additional DIG Md. Nowroz Hasan Talukdar exchanged views with the trainees participating in the course and provided detailed guidance on various issues related to election duty. He highlighted the importance of the police members' role in making the election fair and peaceful. Pabna's Police Superintendent Md. Mortaza Ali Khan was present with him at this time. Additionally, the training's focal point officer, Pabna's Additional Police Superintendent Md. Rejinur Rahman (Crime and Ops), along with other officers and trainee police members, were present.
The authorities hope that this special training course will significantly enhance the professional capacity of field-level police members during the election period. Trainee police members and other police officers were present at this time.
