Mystery of auto-van driver Alif's murder in Narail solved, two arrested. The district police have solved the mystery behind the murder of adolescent auto-van driver Md. Aminur Biswas Alif (15), son of Kinaet Biswas from Choto Mitana village, Tularampur union, Narail Sadar upazila. Police have arrested two individuals involved in the incident. Ujjal Ray, reporting from Narail, states that Narail Superintendent of Police (SP) Md. Rabiul Islam disclosed this information during a press briefing at the Narail Police Superintendent's office on Tuesday (October 7) evening.

The Police Superintendent said that on Sunday (October 5), Alif's mother, Rozina Begum, filed a General Diary (GD) at Narail Sadar Police Station as she could not find her son. It was mentioned in the GD that Alif had left home on Friday (October 3) morning to drive his auto-van and did not return. Multiple teams from Narail District Police began investigating the matter. During the investigation, it was found that Alif was last seen with Minarul Biswas (22), son of Baharul Biswas from Chachra village, Tularampur union, and Hridoy Molla (20), son of Hafizur Molla from the same village. Using information technology assistance in the investigation, suspect Minarul was detained, and startling information emerged during interrogation.

Minarul confessed to the police that he and Hridoy Molla deliberately made Alif drink a soft drink mixed with sleeping pills. When Alif became drowsy, the accused Hridoy drove their van and took him to Bahirgram Bazar. After leaving Alif sitting at the bazar, Minarul and Hridoy went to drop off the van's charge at Hridoy's uncle's house. Then, the three of them walked to the Debhobhog bil (wetland) area. There, Minarul and Hridoy strangled Alif to death. They then hid the body under water hyacinths in a nearby ditch.

The next day, the accused removed the battery from Alif's auto-van and sold it in the Muchirpol area of Narail town. Through a police operation, the auto-van's battery, the van itself, and Alif's used smartphone were recovered. Later, on Monday (October 6), police arrested Hridoy Molla while he was trying to flee from the Bhatiapara area of Kashiani upazila, Gopalganj. Adolescent Alif's mother, Rozina Begum, as the plaintiff, filed a murder case at Narail Sadar Police Station on Monday. When Minarul and Hridoy, shown as arrested in the case, were presented in court, they gave confessional statements. Subsequently, the court judge ordered them to be sent to jail. Also present at the press briefing that day were Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) Nur E Alam Siddiqui and Sadar Police Station's Officer-in-Charge (OC-in-charge) Md. Sajedul Islam.
