Youth's Bloody Body Found Beside Railway Tracks in Narail's Lohagora

An unknown young man's bloody body was found beside the railway tracks in Lohagora Upazila of Narail. Ujjal Roy, District Representative from Narail, reports that the body was found around 5 PM on Sunday (October 12) in the Kalna-Kamthana area of Lohagora Union in the upazila.
Inspector (Investigation) Ajit Kumar Roy of Lohagora Thana Police confirmed the incident. According to local and police sources, locals saw an unknown young man sitting on the railway tracks in the Kalna-Kamthana area of the Benapole-Dhaka railway line in Lohagora on Sunday afternoon. Sometime later, a train heading from Benapole to Dhaka passed through the area. After that, local people discovered the young man's bloody body beside the railway tracks.
When the local people informed the Lohagora Thana Police, a team from the police station went to the spot and took the body into their custody. The bloodied young man is estimated to be 25 to 30 years old. He was wearing a navy blue T-shirt and jeans. However, it is not yet known whether he died by suicide or if it was an accident.
Regarding this, Inspector (Investigation) Ajit Kumar Roy of Lohagora Thana Police said that upon learning of the incident, police were sent to the spot. However, since the incident occurred on railway property, the Jessore Railway Police have been informed. The Railway Police will take further legal action in this matter.
