The closing ceremony of World Children's Rights Week-2025 was held in Keshabpur. A prize distribution among the winners of the children's competitive events and a cultural program were held, organized by the Keshabpur Upazila Administration and Bangladesh Shishu Academy Keshabpur. The inaugural ceremony of the week-long event was held last Tuesday (October 07-25). On Wednesday (October 15-25), under the theme "We will listen to children today, we will work for children," the closing day ceremony of the week-long program was held at the Upazila Parishad hall room, chaired by Upazila Child Affairs Officer Bimal Kumar Kundu. The chief guest delivered the speech and distributed prizes among the winning child students from various competitions was Upazila Executive Officer Reksona Khatun. The special guest was Upazila Senior Fisheries Officer Sudeep Biswas. Also present were Ujjal De, Director of Keshabpur Charupith Academy; Shamim Akhtar Mukul, President of the National Press Society, Media and Human Rights Organization, Keshabpur Upazila Branch; Alok Basu Bapi, Shankar Das, trainers of Shishu Academy; Nimai Chand Nandan, General Secretary of Udichi, Keshabpur; and lecturers Kakoli Das, Mousumi Majumder, among others. At the event, a duet of tabla and song by students of the training class of Bangladesh Shishu Academy Keshabpur and students of Madhusudan Sangeetalay captivated the audience. Child artists, parents, and distinguished guests were present at the event.
