Ujjal Roy, district representative from Narail said that the police arrested him from Miyabari area under Sadar Thana of Gopalganj district on Saturday (May 25) early morning. Arrested. Zakaria is the son of Muktar Buro of Migram in Lohagara upazila. He was on the run in India for a long time to avoid arrest. Lohagarh police officer-in-charge (OC) Kanchan Kumar Roy confirmed the arrest. According to the police, the court sentenced the person named Md. Zakaria to life imprisonment and a fine of 10,000 taka in a murder case. Fearing arrest in this case, Zakaria fled to India for a long time. Recently, when he returned to the country, Lohagara Police Sub-Inspector (SI) FM Hasibur Rahman and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Akizur Rahman conducted a raid and arrested him from Miyabari village of Sadar Thana area of Gopalganj district. In this regard, Lohagarh Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Kanchan Kumar Roy said that after the arrest, the accused was handed over to the court on Saturday afternoon and the learned court sent him to jail.
