RDA and BRDB Trainee Officers Visit TMSS in Bogura: Exploring New Horizons in Rural Development

As part of the training program titled "Rural Development through Organization and Credit Management," organized by the Rural Development Academy (RDA) in Bogura and the Bangladesh Rural Development Board (BRDB), BRDB trainee officers visited the founding office of the renowned, top-tier, and internationally accredited private development organization TMSS on Wednesday, October 29. The objective of this visit was to gain an understanding of a successful development model at the field level.
Upon the trainee officers' arrival at the TMSS office, they were warmly welcomed by the founder and Executive Director of Modern TMSS, Professor Dr. Hosne Ara Begum. Subsequently, the visiting delegation, led by the Director (Rural Administration and Gender) of the Rural Development Academy, Sheikh Mehdi Mohammad, toured TMSS's extensive social and humanitarian development activities and learned about their implementation processes.
Following the visit, in the evening, the visiting officers met with the organization's officials for a discussion and exchange of views session on the main stage of TMSS Entertainment World. During this session, the trainee officers expressed deep interest in TMSS's working methods, field-level implementation model, and particularly its women-led development structure, and participated in a question-and-answer session.
At the exchange meeting, TMSS's Executive Director, noted educationist, social worker, and Director of Ansar-VDP Unnayan Bank, Professor Dr. Hosne Ara Begum, presented detailed information about the organization's founding history, long journey, experiences in implementing various social and humanitarian programs, current activities, and future plans. She also gratefully recalled the past cooperation of RDA and BRDB in rural development.
The visiting trainee officers highly praised TMSS's successful social and humanitarian activities and the organization's future plans. Senior officials from both visiting institutions and TMSS, along with the Executive Director's Private Secretary, Sarvik Md. Ferdous Rahman, were present at the time.
Finally, the visiting trainees enjoyed an apprentice cultural evening organized by the Dr. Enamul Haque Art and Cultural Academy. The event was hosted and conducted by the Executive Director's Private Secretary and the Principal of Dr. Enamul Haque Art and Cultural Academy, Md. A. Hannan. Senior TMSS officials, people from various classes and professions, and media personnel were present at the time.
