A meeting between the leaders of the Burichang Upazila Government Primary School Teachers' Association and journalists of the Burichang Press Club was held. The meeting took place on Thursday (October 30) afternoon at the Burichang Press Club auditorium.

Presided over by Burichang Press Club President Kazi Khorshed Alam and conducted by General Secretary Zahirul Haque Babu, the meeting featured speeches from:

  • Md. Kamrul Hasan, Senior Vice-President of the Central Committee of the Bangladesh Government Primary School Teachers' Association

  • Md. Golam Mostafa, General Secretary of the Comilla District Head Teachers' Association

  • Md. Abul Kalam Azad, Convener of the Burichang Upazila Chapter

  • Md. Monir Hossain, Headteacher of Rajapur Government Primary School

  • Kazi Ruhul Amin, Headteacher of Haji Fazr Ali Government Primary School

  • Md. Iqbal Hossain, Joint Convener of the Upazila Chapter

  • Shahanara Khatun, Headteacher of Gazipur Government Primary School

Also present were former President of Burichang Press Club, Museleh Uddin, Senior Vice-President Kazi Jahangir Alam Jabir, and other members of the press club.

The meeting involved detailed discussions on necessary steps to improve the quality of primary education in Burichang Upazila.
