In Badalgachi, Naogaon, over five hundred families belonging to the Sanatan religion and ethnic minorities have joined the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP). They joined spontaneously and voluntarily out of affection for Fazle Huda Babul, who has been nominated as the MP candidate, and pledged to vote for him, symbolized by the "rice stalk." The joining ceremony was organized by the Mathurapur-Adhaipur Multipurpose Youth Club in Badalgachi upazila of the district. Around 8 PM on Thursday, November 6, at an event held at Shurkali Field in the upazila, they formally joined the party by presenting flowers to the chief guest and other leaders of the upazila BNP. Chief Guest Fazle Huda Babul said, "BNP is the party of the people. Today, the people of the country want change – this joining is proof of that. The coming days are for the poor, for the common people, for Hindus and Muslims." Fazle Huda Babul said, "BNP stands for equal rights and freedom for people of all religions. We wholeheartedly welcome those who have voluntarily joined our party today. I will try until my last breath to repay the love you have shown me."

Among the men, speeches were given by Logen Kuzur from the Lakshmikul area, Sandip Kerkata from the Chakbeni area, Parinal Kuzur from the Mahmudpur area, and Prashanta Deb Nath and Manoranjan Sheel from the Kastygari area.
They said, "We have been deprived of development and our rightful entitlements for a long time. Furthermore, Fazle Huda Babul is known to us and is a son of this area. He has always kept in touch with us. Recently, he was nominated as the MP candidate by the BNP. Therefore, out of affection for him, we decided to join the BNP." They added, "Our trust in Fazle Huda Babul and the BNP is why we have formally joined together today. For the sake of development, we will vote for Fazle Huda, symbolized by the rice stalk, and we will secure our rightful entitlements."
Present at the event were Abdul Hadi Chowdhury Tipu, General Secretary of the upazila BNP, Senior Vice President Zakir Hossain Chowdhury, Organizing Secretary Rabiul Hasan, along with leaders and activists of the Chhatra Dal, Juba Dal, Sramik Dal, and Mahila Dal. They believe this joining will create a new equation in local politics and will also boost Fazle Huda Babul's popularity. Before the event began, the national and party anthems were performed.
