The funeral of Inqilab Manch spokesperson Sharif Osman Hadi will be held at Manik Mia Avenue on Saturday (December 20) at 2:00 PM. His elder brother Abu Bakr Siddique will lead the funeral prayers. Dr. Md. Abdul Ahad, physician at the Neurosurgery Department of Dhaka Medical College (DMC) Hospital and Member Secretary of the National Health Alliance (NHA), confirmed this information. He stated that the burial will take place beside the grave of National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam.

Meanwhile, the autopsy of Sharif Osman Hadi's body has been completed at Shahid Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital in the capital. The process concluded around 11:15 AM on Saturday. Hadi's body was brought to the Suhrawardy Hospital morgue from the cold storage of the National Heart Institute around 9:40 AM. The body was taken to the morgue under strict security provided by the army, BGB, police, and other law enforcement agencies. Hadi's relatives, fellow activists, and colleagues were also present there. From dawn, many gathered in front of the hospital to see him for the last time.

After the autopsy at Suhrawardy Hospital, his body will be given a ritual bath. Following the completion of all formalities, the body will be taken to the South Plaza of the National Parliament Building. His funeral prayers will be held there at 2:00 PM. A one-day state mourning is being observed on Saturday following the death of Sharif Osman Hadi. The national flag is being flown at half-mast at all government, semi-government, autonomous institutions, educational institutions, government and private buildings, and Bangladeshi missions abroad. On December 12, armed assailants shot Sharif Osman Hadi in the head in the Bijoynagar area of Dhaka. In critical condition, he was first taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital and later to Evercare Hospital. He was taken to Singapore last Monday for advanced treatment.
