At the first hour of the great Martyrs' Day and International Mother Language Day, on the morning of 21st February, a delegation from the Sreepur Press Club placed floral wreaths at the Central Shaheed Minar to pay heartfelt tribute to the language martyrs. Led by the club's president, Abdul Malek, this tribute was offered with deep emotion and solemnity.

After laying the wreath, a minute of silence was observed to honor the memory of the immortal martyrs of the Language Movement. Each moment of that silence served as a reminder that it is because of their sacrifice that we can now freely speak in our beloved mother tongue, Bangla.

Present at that time were Sohag Prodhan, Md. Kabir Akondo, Ashraful Alam Sarkar, Md. Ujjwal Mia, Farhad Mia, Shahadat Hossain Abir, Haji Asaduzzaman, Usman Goni, Md. Kamal Uddin, Minara Kamal, Al Amin Kobi, and Md. Paran, along with other journalists of the Sreepur Press Club.

Speakers stated that the dignity of our mother tongue was established following the path stained with the blood of the martyrs of the Language Movement. Their sacrifice, as the eternal flame of pride, inspiration, and consciousness of the Bengali nation, will illuminate our path from generation to generation.

This program, imbued with respect, love, and gratitude, was a brilliant expression of the Sreepur Press Club's unwavering respect, commitment, and consciousness towards the language martyrs.
