The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has approved the filing of a case against Nazrul Islam Mandal, mayor of Rajbari's Goland municipality and municipal Awami League president. Last Sunday (May 26) the office order signed by Nargis Sultana, Deputy Director (Investigation and Investigation-1) of Anti-Corruption Commission Dhaka Segunbagicha Head Office (Memorandum No. 00.01.8200.614.03.086.21.) Anti-Corruption Commission of Faridpur According to the order sent to the Deputy Director of the Integrated District Office, after reviewing the investigation report and other records submitted by the investigating officer, the Anti-Corruption Commission was satisfied with the Mayor Nazrul of Goaland Municipality, the son of the deceased Jalal Mandal of North Daulatdia Kiamaddin Mandal and the current Basinda of No. 1 Juran Mollar Para of Goaland Municipality of Rajbari. The Commission has authorized the filing of a case under Sections 26 (2) and 27 (1) of the Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2004 against Islam. At the same time, instructions have been given to take necessary measures to send copies of the declaration by appointing investigating and supervising officers. When Nazrul Islam Mandal, mayor of Rajbari's Goland municipality and municipal Awami League president, was contacted on Tuesday afternoon, he informed that he did not know anything about this.
