A housewife was assaulted in Baishari, Naikhongchhari.

In Tufan Ali Para, Ward No. 9 of Baishari, Naikhongchhari, a housewife was beaten and left lying on the ground. It is reported that the incident occurred on Friday, October 31st, around 1 PM, when the sons of the neighboring Mahachchan obstructed Obaidul Rahman while he was installing poles and fencing within his boundary. Obaidul Rahman and his family stated, "I have reported the matter to the Baishari Police Investigation Center, and the police have investigated. My younger brother Abu Hanif's wife, Lutfun Nahar, was unjustly beaten by four sons of Mahachchan together. I have admitted her to the Naikhongchhari Health Complex for proper treatment." Regarding this, Obaidullah, one of Mahachchan's sons, said, "She bit my hand, so I only pushed her. This woman knows a lot of drama; she lay down on the ground to prove that we beat her and to show people."

Chakina Begum, the wife of the neighboring Mahachchan, said, "My sons did not beat Lutfun Nahar; they pushed her, and she fell and got hurt." Local residents Rashida, Arfa, and Forqan stated, "We went to the spot immediately after hearing about the incident and saw Lutfun Nahar lying on the ground. We poured water on her head to revive her." UP Member Abu Taher said, "There have been many incidents between them over this land-related issue before. I have heard about this matter, but I did not go to the scene." When asked, SI Anjan of the Baishari Police Investigation Center said, "The incident is true. It happened due to an argument over the land boundary."
