Inauguration of the 'Family Service Card' distribution program of Hotoishi organization in Pirgacha

With the pledge to stand by the helpless and low-income people of society, the Family Service Card product distribution program of the Hotoishi organization was inaugurated in Pirgacha, Rangpur, under the slogan "Extend the Hand of Love." The program was inaugurated on Saturday (February 21, 2026) afternoon through an event organized at the Pirgacha Model Government Primary School grounds.

The event was presided over by the organization's founder president, Delowar Hossain Sumon, and conducted by General Secretary Mostafizur Rahman. Local political and social figures were present as chief and special guests. Speeches were given by Alhaj Aminul Islam Ranga, President of Pirgacha Upazila BNP; General Secretary Shariful Islam Dalez; Organizing Secretary Jewel Hossain Mondol; former Upazila Parishad Chairman Alhaj Md. Afsar Ali; Manjurul Alam Bipu, Lecturer at Pirgacha Government College; and Tozamme l Haque Munshi, President of Press Club Pirgacha, among others.

In their speeches, the speakers stated that in the current market of soaring essential commodity prices, it has become difficult for low-income people to manage their living expenses. In such a situation, this humanitarian initiative by the Hotoishi organization is extremely timely. They called upon the affluent and conscious sections of society to come forward for such welfare activities and highly praised the organization's efforts.

The organizer, Hotoishi, informed that in the initial phase of this program, Family Service Cards have been distributed among 500 families in the upazila. Through this card, cardholders will be able to collect necessary daily necessities at a low cost at designated times. Those concerned express hope that this will, to some extent, reduce the household expenses of the common people.
