A prayer ceremony was held at Nekmamud Update Public School on the occasion of bidding farewell to the eighth-grade students and presenting the holy Quran's 'Sobok' to the fourth-grade students.

A prayer and discussion meeting was held at Nekmamud Update Public School in Pirgacha, Rangpur, on the occasion of bidding farewell to the eighth-grade students and presenting the holy Quran's 'Sobok' (lesson) to the fourth-grade students. The event took place on Saturday morning on the school premises. Presided over by the school's President, Makbul Hosen, and conducted by teacher representative Almagir Hosen, the chief guest was Nurul Islam Sirazi, Assistant Maulvi Teacher of Sara Memorial High School. Special guests included Khatib Shafiqul Islam of Kali Das Ghat Jame Mosque and Assistant Professor Kamruzzaman Liton of Kandi Kabila Para Balika Alim Madrasa. Speakers at the event included the school's Head Teacher Moshiur Rahman Shubho, Academic In-Charge Sahana Akter Sumi, Anwar Hosen, Academic Coordinator Ziaur Rahman, Asadul Islam Asad, among others. The speakers said that Nekmamud Update Public School places special emphasis on moral, character-building, and religious education alongside regular academic teaching. Wishing success to the departing eighth-grade students in their lives, the speakers noted that this education will play an important role in shaping their future. Presenting the Quran's 'Sobok' to the fourth-grade students will further increase their enthusiasm for religious education. Later, the chief guest, Nurul Islam Sirazi, conducted a prayer for the well-being of all.
