In the Sixth Upazila Parishad Election (May 1, 2024) in the Chatmohar Upazila Parishad Election of Pabna District, two candidates contested for the post of Chairman, 4 candidates for the post of Vice-Chairman, and 3 candidates for the post of Female Vice-Chairman. The total number of votes received by the two chairman candidates is 44,496 votes. The total votes of Chatmohar upazila are 2,44,270 people. The total casting percentage is 18.21%. Mirza Md Rezaul Karim Dulal got 39,334 votes (Pineapple symbol) and nearest rival Advocate Md Saidul Islam Chowdhury got 5,162 votes (Horse symbol) for the post of Chairman.

The total number of votes received by the 4 Vice Chairman candidates is 44,602. Md. Saidul Islam (Tubewell) got 25,022 votes. The nearest rival Md. Asaduzzaman Panna (Cashma) got 12,763 votes, the other two candidates Md. Obaidul Islam Mithu (Urojahaj) got 4,907 votes and Md. Humayon Kabir (Tala) got 1983 votes. 44,408 votes received by 3 candidates for the post of female vice-chairman. Lecturer Mocha: Feroza Parveen (Football) received 19,719 votes. Closest rival candidates: Sabina Yasmin Rani 18,414 votes received by (Kuls) and 6275 votes received by Arefin Akhtar Lilly (Duck).

Mirza Rezaul Karim Dulal (Pineapple) as Chairman, Md. Saidul Islam (Tubewell) as Vice-Chairman, and Lecturer Mocha Feroza Parveen (Football) as Female Vice-Chairman were announced as unofficial results of the Chatmohar Upazila Parishad elections. Assistant Returning Officer Md. Redwanul Halim. Meanwhile, the prominent poet, columnist and journalist of Pabna district gave a statement congratulating the three elected representatives Researcher-writer and environmental-human rights activist lecturer SM Moniruzzaman Akash. He is hopeful that the three representatives elected for the next five years will manage the state activities with the mentality of free thinking in social and human values. Hope to play a proper role in all activities including increasing public awareness about climate change to protect environment and human rights.
