Upazila different unions, new businessmen are meeting to reach Dinajpur litchi buyers! Lechu shops are also located on the side of Hat Bazar road. The market is flooded with delicious fruits including China Three, Bedana, Madraji, Bombay, Haria. Even if the price is high, buyers are buying more. Dinajpur is the state of litchi. The Newmarket market of the city is bustling with the sale of fruit that is incomparable in taste and juice. The market is full of different types of red litchis. China Three, Bedana, Madraji, Bombay, Haria, Kanthali, etc., are known by various Bahari names for these litchis.

These lychees are sold at the price of Tk 300 to 1200 per hundred pieces. Madraji is selling at 300 to 350 rupees, Bedana at 700 to 900 rupees, Bombay at 300 to 320 rupees and the highest priced China Three is selling at 900 to 1200 rupees. Due to massive damage of litchi in month-long wildfires and cyclones, prices have been affected. So buyers are buying this fruit at a high price. Some are buying for business, some for relatives and family.
