Rally and discussion meeting held in Bhumiseva week in Mirzaganj

A colorful rally and discussion meeting was held on the occasion of the 7-day Land Service Week 2024 organized by the Upazila Land Office at Mirzaganj of Patuakhali, keeping the theme of 'Smart Land Service, Smart Citizen' in front. On this occasion, a colorful rally took place in front of the Upazila Land Office at 11 o'clock on Wednesday (June 12). The rally went around the main main road and ended in front of the Upazila Auditorium.

Later, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Abdul Hai was the chief guest in the discussion meeting in the auditorium auditorium, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Tariqul Islam Upazila Awami League Senior Vice President Ismail Hossain Mridha, Vice President Ah Barek Sikdar, Upazila National Party President Dr. Md. Abdur Rahman, social service officer Aminul Islam and others. People from different professions including students and officials of various government departments were present.

In the meeting, the speakers discussed various aspects of providing land office services including paying land rent online, e-namjari online at home. This Seva Week is celebrated every year under the initiative of the Ministry of Lands with the aim of increasing efficiency in land management, mobilizing and increasing awareness about land rights among the public.
