Tourism Advisor Explores Teknaf Shahparirdwip

A delegation led by A. F. Hasan Arif, Advisor to the Ministry of Private Aviation and Tourism, and Secretary Nasreen Jahan visited Shahparir Island in Teknaf, a border upazila of Cox's Bazar, to explore tourism prospects.
On Friday, December 6, at approximately 10 a.m., the team, comprising 6-7 officials from the Ministry of Tourism, visited the Golarchar area of Shahparir Island in Sabrang Union. Teknaf Upazila Executive Officer (UNO), Sheikh Ehsan Uddin, confirmed the visit.
The UNO stated that the delegation, including the advisor and secretary, examined the potential for developing Golarchar as a tourist destination. During their visit, they explored various locations, including the southern point of Shahparir Island near the BGB post, the embankment, and the jetty.
After spending some time inspecting the area, the delegation departed from Shahparir Island around noon, heading back to Cox's Bazar.
