At least 10 people were injured in a clash between supporters of the winning and defeated candidates in Rajbari's Baliakandi. Among the injured, Arifuzzaman Alek and Rabbi have been admitted to Rajbari Sadar Hospital, Amirul Islam to Faridpur Bangabandhu Medical College Hospital and others to Baliakandi Hospital. The clash took place at Ghikmala Bazar of Narua Union of Baliakandi Upazila around 7 pm on Friday happens Abul Kalam Azad, joint general secretary of Narua Union Awami League, said that they voted for Abul Kalam Azad. Because of this, the supporters of the winning candidate Ehsanul Hakim Sadhan were threatening in various ways. Railways Minister Virmuktijoddha Md Zillul Hakeem was taking the activists to the MP's Pansha residence after Friday evening. Some people went to Maghrib prayer in Ghikmala market. When he came out after the prayer and took his motorcycle, the Narua Union Chhatra League general secretary Milon Hossain attacked him. Both sides clashed. At least 10 people were injured. A few motorcycles were impounded but later they kept 2 motorcycles and returned the rest. A complaint has been lodged with the police station in this regard. SI Rajibul Islam of Baliakandi Police Station said that the situation was brought under control immediately with the police force. I received a complaint. Legal action will be taken.
