The final match of "Police Premier Cricket League-2024" was organized by District Police at Narail District Police Lines ground. Narail District Superintendent of Police Mohd Mehedi Hasan was present as the chief guest in this event. He first got to know the players of the two teams participating in the finals. Later he opened the game by playing himself as a batter. Ujjal Roy, Narail district representative said, Friday (May 31).
After the game, the Superintendent of Police said in his speech, "There is no alternative to regular exercise and sports. Sports should be done to keep the body and mind healthy and strong. Police Lines has a beautiful field. Apart from duty, such competitions will be organized in all types of sports including football, volleyball, cricket." .” He then handed over the trophies to the champion and runner-up teams. Besides, Man of the Match and Man of the Series gave the crest to the players. Special awards are given for performing duties as umpire well. Finally, Mohammad Anwar Hossain, Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance), who has been promoted to the rank of Superintendent of Police, handed over the crest to Superintendent of Police Mohd Mehdi Hasan as a memento. Meanwhile Tarek Al Mehdi, Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops); Md. Dolan Mia, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle); Police members of various ranks of district police including Narail were present.
