A meeting to review the achievements against the target for the first quarter of the 2025-26 financial year, analyze them, and plan the strategy and work plan for the second quarter, organized by Operation-8 Barisal Domain under TMSS, a top-tier national and international standard non-governmental development organization established by eminent educationist, social worker, and Director of Ansar-VDP Development Bank, Professor Dr. Hosne-Ara Begum, was held. The meeting took place on Tuesday, October 7, at the Wajeda Kuddus Foundation office in Panchkhola, Madaripur.

Presided over by Mohammad Golam Mostafa, Assistant Director and Domain Head of TMSS Barisal Domain, the meeting featured Mohammad Sohrab Ali Khan, Sector Head and Deputy Executive Director-3 of TMSS, as the chief guest, who provided various directional speeches. The Sector Head said, "We want to create new entrepreneurs among the current young generation." He urged the field officers to work accordingly to foster new entrepreneurs among the youth. He stated that TMSS conducts various social and humanitarian activities across the country. TMSS operates not for profit, but with a service mentality across the nation. Mohammad Sohrab Ali Khan advised officers to identify new projects and work accordingly. He called for strengthening the recovery of overdue and current loans and the distribution of loans for new projects.

The welcome speech at the meeting was given by the chair, Mohammad Golam Mostafa, Assistant Director and Domain Head of Barisal Domain. In his speech, he presented important remarks on the quarterly progress, work plans, implementation, and various future programs of the Barisal Domain from the past period. He called upon the field-level officers to make the organization's activities more dynamic and accelerated.

Special guests at the meeting, including TMSS Director of Operations and Development Mohammad Rezaul Karim and Finance Director Mohammad Abul Bashar Bhuiya, among others, delivered speeches. Director Mohammad Rezaul Karim urged the officers to perform their duties with honesty and dedication. He called upon the field officers to work hard to make TMSS's various social and humanitarian activities more dynamic and accelerated. The speakers urged the field officers to keep pace with the current era by acquiring skills in ICT and building themselves up accordingly. The speakers called for delivering TMSS's various social and humanitarian activities to the disadvantaged grassroots people in society.

Furthermore, TMSS Barisal Zone Head Mohammad Abul Kalam Azad, Faridpur Zone Head Mohammad Abu Bakr Siddique, and Madaripur Zone Head Mohammad Mizanur Rahman presented reports on the activities of their respective zones.

Various senior officials of the organization, including Region Heads from 9 regions of Barisal Domain, Branch Heads from 52 branches, and Zone Heads from 3 zones, participated in the meeting. It is hoped that this will open new horizons in making their domain activities more sustainable and fruitful. Their active participation and valuable exchange of views further enriched the meeting. The meeting featured detailed discussions on the role of domain activities in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), applying new strategies and technologies, addressing challenges, and future work plans. The speakers highlighted the importance of new innovative methods and modern management in domain activities. Participants focused on enhancing their knowledge and skills through group discussions, case studies, and practical exercises.

In conclusion, the participants said that this meeting would help make their domain activities more effective and sustainable. They expressed optimism that by applying the acquired knowledge and experience at the field level, they could play a greater role in improving the quality of life of the marginalized population. The Hem Grand Sector authority stated that such meetings would be organized regularly in the future so that their staff at all levels could familiarize themselves with modern knowledge and technology and further energize the domain activities. This meeting is expected to significantly contribute to enhancing the professional skills of Hem Grand Sector's staff and strengthen their role in national development. At that time, Mohammad Mehedi Parvez, Personal Secretary to the Deputy Executive Director of TMSS, and accounting officers were present.
