Honorable IGP's visit in Rajshahi.

The Honourable Inspector General of Bangladesh Police, Mr. Baharul Alam, BPM, visited Rajshahi today. During his visit, he attended a special coordination meeting as the Chief Guest with officers and force members working in various units of the Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) and the Rajshahi Range. The meeting was attended by the Honourable Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Rajshahi Range, Mr. Mohammad Shahjahan, PPM (Bar), PhD, the Police Commissioner of RMP, Rajshahi, and other officers and force members from various units of the Rajshahi Range and RMP.

At the meeting, the Honourable IGP emphasized enhancing professional skills, maintaining discipline, and further accelerating people-friendly policing initiatives. He stated, "Gaining the trust and affection of the people is the greatest achievement of the police. Therefore, every member must prioritize honesty, discipline, and human values while performing their duties." He further mentioned that through modern technology-based policing and developing a skilled workforce, the Bangladesh Police has now entered a new era of public service. All necessary steps are being taken for the welfare, training, and morale boosting of field-level members.

After the coordination meeting, the Honourable IGP engaged in a direct exchange of views with the attending officers and force members, listening to their suggestions and experiences.
