High-level meeting of MCC and TMSS held in Bogura: Two organizations commit to strengthening development cooperation

A significant high-level meeting was held on Sunday evening at the Hat-2 Conference Hall of the five-star Hotel Momo Inn, operated by TMSS in Bogura, with the participation of top officials from TMSS, a leading national and international standard NGO, and MCC Bangladesh. Prior to the meeting, when the MCC delegation arrived at the TMSS Foundation head office in Bogura, they were welcomed with floral greetings on behalf of the organization by eminent educationist, social worker, Director of Ansar-VDP Unnayan Bank, and Executive Director of TMSS, Professor Dr. Hosne Ara Begum. This meeting, organized to discuss the ongoing development programs across the country, future potential, and expanding areas of cooperation, is considered a milestone in enhancing the relationship between the two organizations. Senior officials from TMSS and senior representatives from MCC Bangladesh were present at the meeting and discussed various social and humanitarian development activities. Both parties held detailed discussions on the progress, outcomes, socio-economic impact, and future guidance of the currently implemented projects. Emphasis was particularly placed on strengthening joint initiatives in the sectors of health, education, women's empowerment, poverty alleviation, entrepreneurship development, and social security. Earlier in the day, the MCC Bangladesh delegation visited various projects run by TMSS. They reviewed on the ground the activities of TMSS's healthcare centers, skill development training programs, microcredit management, and social development projects. During this time, the founder Executive Director of modern TMSS, Professor Dr. Hosne Ara Begum, informed them about TMSS's various social and humanitarian activities across the country. The delegates were briefed in detail about the progress, sustainability of outcomes, and scalability of these TMSS activities.
After the visit, they appreciated TMSS's activities and emphasized the importance of further expanding such initiatives to improve the quality of life of the rural population in Bangladesh. At the meeting, both organizations expressed their commitment to further strengthening mutual cooperation and coordination in implementing future development activities. Furthermore, an agreement was reached on developing joint plans for technology-based service development, capacity building, and achieving sustainable development goals. The representatives expressed hope that the integrated efforts of TMSS and MCC Bangladesh would open new horizons in improving the quality of life, creating employment, and strengthening social security for the poor and marginalized populations across the country. After the meeting, both organizations reiterated their commitment to working more closely in the future. Present at the time were TMSS's Deputy Executive Director-2 Rotarian Dr. Md. Matiur Rahman, TMSS's Sector Head Deputy Executive Director-3 Md. Sohrab Ali Khan, Director of Operations and Development Md. Rezaul Karim, GG and IT Director Md. Mahabubur Rahman, Sarwar Mohammad Babu, other officials, senior officials and advisor Ayesha Begum from MCC, the Executive Director's Personal Secretary overall Md. Ferdous Rahman, and others.
