A new press club named Keshabpur Thana Press Club has been formed.

A new press club named Keshabpur Thana Press Club has been formed. The inauguration of this new press club took place in a grand ceremony at the "PTF" auditorium adjacent to Michael Road in Keshabpur Upazila, Jashore. The event was held on Wednesday (November 19-25) at noon, presided over by Paramedical and Technology Foundation (PTF) Chairman A. K. Azad Iktiyar. The chief guest present was Mohammad Julmat Ali, Lecturer and Head of the Political Science Department at Keshabpur Government Degree College. Special guests present were Mohammad Abdul Hannan, Lecturer and Head of the History Department of the same college, and eminent journalist Maniruzzaman Mani.
After two hours of discussion, a 15-member committee for the Keshabpur Thana Press Club was unanimously formed. The members of the Keshabpur Thana Press Club's executive committee are: President A. K. Azad Iktiyar, Vice Presidents Poresh Chandra Debnath and Sheikh Nuruzzaman, General Secretary Mostafizur Rahman Mintu, Assistant General Secretaries Rabiul Islam and Sheikh Mijanur Rahman Maya, Organizing Secretary Abubakar Siddique, Assistant Organizing Secretary S.M. Ismail Hossain, Office Secretary Zakaria Hossain, Treasurer Abdur Salam Murshidi, Publicity Secretary Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Literature, Culture and Sports Secretary Manzurul Islam Mukul, Member Secretary Ikramul Hossain, and Members Masud Raihan and Mahabur Rahman.
Upon the proposal of the newly elected members of the Keshabpur Thana Press Club, it was accepted to appoint Mohammad Julmat Ali, Head of the Political Science Department at Keshabpur Government Degree College, Mohammad Abdul Hannan, Head of the History Department of the same college, and eminent journalist Maniruzzaman Mani as advisors. Finally, the President and the newly elected President of the press club, A.K. Azad (Iktiyar), concluded the committee formation ceremony by expressing gratitude and wishing everyone good health and well-being. Later, a fellowship feast was organized.
