"Command Conference" of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Force held: Preparations for upcoming National Parliament Election begin.

An important Command Conference of the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Force was held via teleconference, presided over by the Force's Director General, Major General Abdul Motalleb Sazzad Mahmud, SGP, BAM, NDU, AFWC, PSC, at the force's Dhaka headquarters. The conference was held on Sunday, October 19th. The conference primarily announced the formal commencement of preparations for the force's duties in the upcoming 13th National Parliament Election-2026. Also present at the headquarters conference room were the Additional Director General of the force, Brigadier General Fida Mahmud, AFWC, PSC, Deputy Directors General, and other senior officials of the force. Simultaneously, all Range Commanders, Battalion Commanders, District Commandants, and Zone Commanders of the country actively participated in the conference by joining virtually through the online platform "Zoom App". The Director General officially announced the auspicious inauguration of the force's preparations for the upcoming 13th National Parliament Election-2026 at the Command Conference. Referring to the election as a crucial national responsibility for the country, he said, "The skilled, trained, and experienced members of the force will be deployed with the highest professionalism to fulfill their duties in this election." He gave strict instructions to the officers and members to maintain the highest level of professionalism, honesty, and dedication in fulfilling this national responsibility. He unequivocally stated, "In fulfilling national responsibilities, political affiliation is not our concern; rather, our allegiance to the state and its people is our core commitment." He particularly emphasized maintaining the force's apolitical and professional character. At the conference, the Honorable Director General highly praised the role of Ansar members in the recently concluded Sharadiya Durga Puja. He mentioned that the selfless and effective role of Ansar members has been appreciated in various quarters of the country, which has further strengthened the public's trust in the force. Through this conference, the preliminary preparations for the duties of the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Force in the upcoming National Parliament Election have formally begun.
