Agricultural incentives distributed among marginal farmers in Sapahar

Free agricultural incentives have been distributed among marginal and small farmers in Sapahar, Naogaon, focusing on the theme "Agriculture is Prosperity." The distribution of these incentives under the current fiscal year's Rabi season subsidy program was inaugurated on Wednesday at 10 AM at the Sapahar Upazila Parishad premises. Upazila Executive Officer Selim Ahmed was present as the Chief Guest and officially inaugurated the incentive program. Also present at the event were Upazila Agriculture Officer Shapla Khatun, Additional Agriculture Officer Maniruzzaman (Toki), Upazila Livestock Officer Dr. Golam Rabbani, BRDB Officer Alamgir Hossain, among others. Beneficiary marginal farmers were also present at the event. According to the Upazila Agriculture Office, during the current Rabi season, fertilizers and seeds for cultivating 1 bigha of land have been provided free of cost to each of 7,560 marginal and small farmers in Sapahar Upazila.
