The three-day Shri Shri Jagaddhatri Puja, which began on Thursday, October 30, in the temples and homes of various unions in Keshabpur Upazila, Jashore, concluded on Saturday, November 1. The festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm and in a vibrant atmosphere. This year, like every year, the puja festival was celebrated with grandeur on the premises of the Ramkrishna Sebashram in Majitpur, set in a natural environment. The event was organized by the Ramkrishna Sebashram, with the cooperation of the Sarada Sangha and the Keshabpur branch of the Vivekananda Education and Culture Council.

Sources from the organizers indicate that inspired by the ideals of Ramkrishna, Mother Sarada, and Swami Vivekananda, this puja is organized every year. The objective is not limited to merely observing religious rituals; this puja is also an effort to further strengthen the bonds of tolerance, humanity, and mutual love among people. President Shri Tapan Kumar Ghosh and General Secretary Shri Kalipada Pal stated, "The goal of Ramkrishna Sebashram is not just religion, but service to humanity. The core message of all religions is the same - truth, love, and service. Through this puja, we want to spread that message."

The puja commenced on Thursday, October 30, with the distribution of new clothes among children. The evening featured the invitation of the deity and the 'Adhibas' ceremony. From Friday morning throughout the day, the Shri Shri Jagaddhatri Puja took place, followed by the distribution of 'Prasad' and the evening 'Aarati'. Afterwards, a cultural program performed by local artists enlivened the devotional atmosphere.

On Saturday (November 1), all puja activities concluded in the morning with the 'Darpan Visarjan' and 'Jatra Mangal' ceremonies. From the afternoon, the three-day puja festivities drew to a close with 'Sindoor Daan', a mesmerizing 'Aarati', and the immersion of the idol. Throughout the day, the premises were filled with the sounds of devotees.

Local residents reported that this puja at the Majidpur Ramkrishna Sebashram transforms into a unique social and cultural gathering every year. People from all religions participate with equal enthusiasm. It has become a shining example of religious harmony. Centered around this festival every year, a message of joy and unity spreads throughout the area. Retired teacher Manoj Kumar Haldar mentioned that people were extremely happy to be able to enjoy the all-day puja and various other events in the pleasant environment at the beginning of the Hemanta season.
